I'm Jalon and I'm from Cleveland.
I studied PR and Advertising at DePaul University in Chicago, and minored in German. I then completed the fully immersive UX/UI program at Designation, a leading UX/UI design bootcamp.
After Designation, I worked on some household name brands at Leo Burnett, a classic Chicago ad agency. And after that, I freelanced on my own, working with healthcare tech company Omnicure, and then designing an idea from concept to MVP, Let's Grow.
At my core, I am a builder who loves to solve problems that incrementally improve people's lives. As a designer, I position myself between the real world and digital space to better explore areas for improvement.
I grew up playing sports, primarily basketball and lacrosse. Now, I love to skateboard, which satisfies my constant itch to get active. I'm also pretty handy, I like to apply my problem-solving and creative skills to all aspects of life. You can check out my recent handy work here.
